Typical Italian dessert that together with pasta and pizza is one of the most famous dishes of the Italian culinary tradition in the world.
It is an easy and quick dessert to make, requires very few ingredients and can be prepared in different flavors including chocolate, season fruits, coffee, caramel.

Today I propose you the coulis (from French=sauce) strawberry
⌚️ Cooking time: 10 minutes
🍮 Portions: 6
500ml of double cream
100ml of milk
100g of sugar
4 sheets of gelatin
1 vanilla pod or alternatively 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Ingredients for the Strawberry Coulis:
250gr of strawberries
80g of sugar
30ml of water
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
For the strawberry coulis:
Wash the strawberries and cut them into pieces, in a saucepan put them to a boil with the sugar and 3 tablespoons of lemon juice.
Place over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil for 10minutes, stirring occasionally.
After the time has elapsed, temper them for a few minutes, transfer to a mixer and blend them until you get a puree, with the help of a strainer filter it to remove the seeds.
